Stanford House is 5 bedroom villa located in an elevated position at Polo Ridge in St. James, opposite the Barbados Polo Club, commanding magnificent views over the West Coast and to the Caribbean Sea beyond.
Stanford House is on one level and offers spacious accommodation of exceptional comfort for up to ten people. The property is particularly well suited to outdoor living and entertaining with a large terrace incorporating a fully equipped bar and lounge seating area. Straight off the terrace, the pool deck offers a large infinity-edged swimming pool designed to allow relaxed enjoyment of the views.
A spectacular eight-foot aquarium separates the lounge and media room and access to the pool terrace is directly from the lounge and offers delightful views and sunsets.
Outdoors there is a large Jacuzzi set within its own pool, a dining gazebo, a self-contained covered BBQ area with a full wet bar and a further seating area beneath a domed gazebo imported from Italy covered with sparkling fairy lights, all complemented by stunning water features, statues and sun loungers.
The pool and surrounding terraces form the focal point of the gardens with water features, a Romanesque gazebo, an outdoor dining gazebo, a large covered wet bar and a Jacuzzi.

The spacious master bedroom incorporates a seating area, 42" plasma TV, dressing room and air-conditioned en suite bathroom. The fixtures are modern and include a Jacuzzi tub and a large walk-in shower. There are three other guest bedrooms in the main house, all with en suite bathrooms and generous closets. In the garden is a self-contained guest cottage with private terrace and views of the west coast

Staff
The vast majority of villas in Barbados come with staff included. They are there to welcome you and make your stay as stress-free as possible and will remain as unobtrusive as you require. From villas with just a housekeeper to villas with a full staff including butlers and cooks.
Stanford House comprises the following staff:

- Laundress
- Staff hours are 8:30am - 1:30pm & 5:30pm - 8:30pm.
- Each staff member has one day off a week.
- The Butler will be happy to drive guests, using their rental car, down to the beach.
Weddings
Stanford House is ideally suited for an intimate wedding of a maximum of 50 guests. The infinity pool and Romanesque gazebo covered in sparkling fairy lights provide the perfect ambience with the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea. There is an outside bar and a guest cottage that provides facilities which can be used to limit traffic through the main house.
