Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world and has a variety of climates. The northern part of Canada is extremely cold, with summer lasting less than two months. The climate around Vancouver, on Canada’s west coast, is rainy and temperate, rarely snowing except in the mountains. High temperatures in summer are around 22°F and in winter around 7°C. Near Toronto, the climate is more continental, whereby winters are cold and snowy and summers are warm and humid. High temperatures in summer are around 26°C and in winter it is 0 degrees, raining on average 7 days a month year-round.
