Discover Saint Lucia
It is arguable that a more photogenic island has ever been found. Saint Lucia's beaches to the north are blessed with golden coral sands to contrast with the deep blue sea, and with rich vegetation encroaching right up to its shoreline, boasting the idyll which is conjured in most minds of the Caribbean.
Soufrière
The west coast of Saint Lucia is home to Soufrière, the original French capital. Soufrière is tucked just under the Petit Piton (the smaller Piton).Situated in Soufriere, Diamond Botanical Gardens & Waterfalls is a nature lover’s dream with a wide range of plants and colourful flowers on display. The waterfalls originate from underground sulphur springs. Other notable waterfalls include Latille Waterfall and Gardens, Anse La Raye Waterfalls and Toraile Waterfalls in Soufriere.
North St Lucia
North Saint Lucia is home to the town of Rodney Bay, which has some of the top Saint Lucia beaches as well as popular restaurants and nightlife spots. Nature lovers will appreciate Pigeon Island National Park, which you can reach by car over a causeway and offers hiking opportunities, as well as places for kayaking, snorkelling, and swimming.
Beyond the Beach
Take a guided segway and glide effortlessly up Mount Pimard where you will be able to experience stunning views of Saint Lucia’s coastline. Travel through banana plantations to the award-winning Saint Lucia Distillers and meet the renowned Rum Ambassador, tour the distillery and experience the distilling process. Sail along the island’s coastline aboard Good Expectation, a beautifully restored Carriacou Sloop. Discover Saint Lucia’s rainforest, a wonderful world of massive trees wrapped in vines, giant aerial roots, towering ferns, vibrant flora and fauna, sparkling waterfalls and a symphony of birdsong. The ultimate physical challenge on Saint Lucia is scaling the Gros Piton - not for the faint-hearted but you can celebrate reaching the summit with a local Piton beer!
