Discover New South Wales
New South Wales lies in south-eastern Australia and is home to the world-renowned city of Sydney, with its glamorous harbour, museums, galleries and restaurants. View Sydney's iconic Opera House and relax (or surf) the popular golden beaches (including Bondi Beach).
Away from Sydney, take in the sights of New South Wales’ Blue Mountain National Park, where you can also rock climb, mountain bike, hike and abseil. You can also take in Australia's highest peak, situated within The Snowy Mountains (Mount Kosciuszko).
Explore Byron Bay, with its rainforests, volcanic mountains and spectacular beaches. It is also Australia's most easterly point, featuring the iconic Cape Byron lighthouse. Visit some of Hunter Valley's wineries, and sample the excellent wine of the region. You can also take in the spectacular scenery in one of the area's hot air balloons. Within New South Wales is also the Australian Capital Territory - and Australia's capital city of Canberra.
