The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

The phrase “good things come in small packages” is most definitely an apt description of this beautiful country and in this tiny corner of south-eastern Europe you will discover some of the continent’s most glorious beaches, wilderness and historic towns in an area smaller than Northern Ireland.

In the west, beautiful beaches and the Adriatic await, with small fishing villages dotted along the coast. Further inland, wide plains and high mountains such as Maja Kolata are perfect for anyone seeking an active holiday that can include everything from hiking to rafting.

The National Park of Durmitor offers stunning scenery and walled towns like Kotor where you will find a maze of cobbled streets. Wildlife is abundant in the hills, and hikers might on occasion come across a wolf or bear in the very remote parts of the country.

Hospitality is so important to the Montenegrins where you are ensured of a warm welcome. As a former Yugoslav republic, the cuisine is similar to that of other Adriatic states. Meals include lamb, veal and lots of fruit and vegetables, and most of Montenegro’s food is organic. Specialties include cheese and smoked ham. Montenegro is one of the most picturesque spots in the Balkans and becoming more and more popular as a holiday destination.

Montenegro enjoys three different climates: The coast has a pleasant Mediterranean climate with a high number of days of sunshine per year. Summers are hot and dry and winters are mild and wet. Temperatures drop slightly as you move inland, where the climate is continental and moderate. Once you climb above 1,200 m, you’ll be greeted with fresh mountain air and temperatures around 13 ºC in the summer months.
