The Great Barrier Reef
One of the seven wonders of the natural world, the 1,430-mile great Barrier is on many people's "must-see" lists.
The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland. A variety of boat tours are available, from single-day trips to longer voyages. Boat sizes range from dinghies, yachts and glass-bottomed boats. You can also view the stunning reef by taking a helicopter flight.
Explore and take in the magnificent marine life up close by swimming, snorkelling or diving.
An experience not to be missed!
The Whitsundays
The Whitsunday Islands are an archipelago of 74 tropical islands, just off the coast of the Queensland coast alongside the Great Barrier Reef.
The islands are protected from large swells by the Great Barrier reef, making them perfect for sailing, swimming or snorkelling.
You can relax on secluded beaches and in hidden bays, including Whitehaven Bay, An uninhabited island, regarded as one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet.
Fraser Island
Fraser Island is a little piece of paradise located on the South-Eastern coast of Queensland, it is the largest sand island in the world, measuring 120 x 15 kilometres, and the sixth-largest island in Australia. A dedicated World Heritage Site since 1992, Fraser Island has rainforests, eucalyptus woodland, mangrove forests, peat swamps, and sand dunes, in addition to the magnificent coastline. Fraser Island is the only known rainforest in the world that grows in the sand!
Fraser Island is an adventurer's dream, popular with 4x4ers and watersports enthusiasts, for those not so active a dip in Lake McKenzie is a must, as is a visit to the wreck of the passenger liner on Maheno Beach.
