Cypriot Luxury at Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites and I can honestly say that it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Located in the beautiful town of Paphos, on the island of Cyprus, this beachfront hotel boasts a fantastic location within walking distance of a myriad of restaurants and shops. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make sure that I had a great stay.
One of the things I loved most about Asimina Suites is that it's an adults-only hotel, which meant I could relax, unwind, and enjoy the peace and quiet, which I appreciated.
On our first day, we were taken to our spacious one-bedroom, ocean-facing room to freshen up and relax on our lovely balconies ready for the evening. The hotel enjoys gorgeous sunset and sunrise views and depending on which you prefer you can decide which side of the hotel to stay in.
The evening was upon us and we were greeted by the wonderful George, who takes care of all the beverages and was always on hand providing the pre-dinner champagne along with the array of cocktails that were available at the VIP Bar later in the evening.
Dinner was served in the Estia restaurants with an array of wonderful buffet dishes, all beautifully presented with freshly cooked items to entice you.
Breakfast was similarly exceptional, with freshly cooked dishes so plentiful we would have needed to stay for a month to sample them all. The Maître De, Marios, was always on hand to ensure we wanted for nothing.
The oceanfront Kymata restaurant served lunch a la carte, with dishes on offer including salads, moussaka, burgers and catch of the day. Watch out though, they know how to feed you with the portion sizes!
The hotel grounds are pristine as I believe the hotel owners are passionate about the landscape. Lush green grass and vibrant planting stood out from all of the other hotels located up and down the boardwalk. You definitely knew you were back in a Constantinou Bros property.
There are a number of facilities at the hotel, and I took advantage of the indoor heated pool and the spa, as well as the Hair Salon (well, it was my birthday!) which I highly recommend for a treat! This put me in the mood for the Toga Gala, where everyone dressed in togas and laurel crowns, the wine was flowing and there were plenty of dishes to feast on whilst being entertained by the local Greek musicians and dancers – a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday!
Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Asimina Suites Cyprus. It's a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities and incredibly friendly and helpful staff and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday.
