Once inside, Elsewhere's grounds feature shaded nooks and crannies with a Japanese bridge over a waterfall and a running stream that flows into a lily pond full of koi carp.
The ground floor of the main houses comprises a large living room and dining room, kitchen, an airy patio and a barbeque terrace with sea views as well as an enclosed courtyard with a fountain. Guests can spend lazy days by the pool or in the gardens; cross the bridges and you will find a large lily pond and spacious gazebo which overlooks a private putting green.
Between the main house and the east wing is a freeform swimming pool adjoining an inviting covered patio furnished with deep sofas, board games and a bar. Those wishing to head to the beach benefit from privileged access via a card to Elsewhere’s cabana on the Sandy Lane beach next to the Sandy Lane Hotel.
The house has a two-car garage and a cabana is available for guests to use at the Sandy Lane Property Owners Beach facility.
Children are welcome at Elsewhere - they will enjoy exploring the many facets of the villa, especially its secret limestone cave and its ancient mahogany grove. Green monkeys visit every morning, tree frogs trill at night, there are mangos and avocadoes to be plucked and a storehouse of children’s books awaiting discovery in the study.

Staff
The vast majority of villas in Barbados come with staff. They are there to welcome you and make your stay as stress-free as possible and will remain as unobtrusive as you require. Sandy Lane Beach facility
Elsewhere enjoys access to the Sandy Lane Property Owners’ Beach Facility located beside the Sandy Lane Hotel, complete with your own cabana where you can store your personal items. Lounge chairs, an umbrella and changing rooms are also available for your use and a bar offering refreshments for a fee and sheltered seating area make for enjoyable days at the beach, including swimming in the sea and walks along the sand.
