Carlisle Bay is one of the Caribbean’s most stylish hideaways. With a backdrop of rolling hills and tropical rainforest and situated on the unspoiled south coast of Antigua, it enjoys one of the most stunning beaches on the island. Set in lush, tropical gardens, every suite has cool, modern interiors, spacious bathrooms and stunning views of the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The suites have been carefully designed to provide a relaxing and contemporary space in which to unwind with the bed and sofa facing the floor-to-ceiling windows to make the most of the views.
The hotel’s fantastic array of water sports includes everything from windsurfing, kayaking and sailing, right through to its very own PADI recognised dive centre. Water skiing and wakeboarding are available in the neighbouring bay. There are also nine tennis courts, a state of the art gym and an exceptional ‘Blue Spa’, which offers a wide range of pure and natural treatments, a juice bar, a sauna and a yoga and Pilates area. A library and air-conditioned screening room showing great movies epitomises the hotels contemporary and cutting edge style.
Great food and thoughtful service are Carlisle Bay’s over-riding priorities and there are four outstanding restaurants: Indigo on the Beach offering fresh seafood and healthy grills, East offering exciting pan-Asian food, Ottimo offering fresh pizzas and Italian fare and The Jetty Grill, for adults only, offering grilled meats and fresh seafood.

Gorgeous open plan suites featuring simple, designer furniture, contemporary tones and a split level bedroom/sitting room. These suites offer luxury bathrooms, king size beds and large balconies or a terraces with views of the gardens and ocean beyond. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 1 child.

Footsteps from the sand, these open plan suites are the same size as the Garden and Ocean Suites and are situated at the far end of the beach, next to The Jetty Grill. Bay Suites are for adults only and sleep up to two adults only.
Footsteps from the sand, these luxury suites feature a master bedroom with a king or two twin beds that open up through sliding doors to the balcony or terrace. There is a separate study that converts beautifully into a second bedroom with up to two extra beds (perfect for children) and a luxury bathroom. The study/second bedroom overlooks the gardens while the master bedroom and balcony or terrace offers wonderful ocean views. Beach Balcony Suites sleep up to three adults or two adults and two children aged between 2-15yrs (children under 2yrs will need a waiver to be signed by their parents to stay in a Beach Balcony Suite). Beach Terrace Suites sleep up to three adults or two adults and two children up to the age of 15yrs.

A beachfront restaurant which is the relaxed heart of Carlisle Bay. Guests can enjoy the sea breezes that fill the open sided room and terrace and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beautifully presented food is in the form of delicious healthy grills, barbecues, freshly caught seafood and salads. Children too are well catered for with menus designed just for them.
This air-conditioned restaurant overlooks a spectacular torch lit water feature on one side. This dramatic contemporary setting is the ideal venue to enjoy the exquisite Asian cuisine. Open for dinner only.
Ottimo is a casual Italian restaurant right next to the poolside with shaded al fresco dining for lunch and dinner. The authentic wood-burning pizza oven produces fabulous pizzas with salads, antipasti and homemade gelato also on the menu. There is also a Little Ottimo kids menu.
This adult’s only restaurant is located adjacent to the beach. Grilled meats, fresh seafood and wines by the carafe are daily favourites at this casual venue overlooking the resort’s Jetty and Caribbean Sea.
Children are welcome at Carlisle Bay all year around.
There is a complimentary ’Cool Kids Club’ for children from 3-11 years with supervised activities from Monday to Saturday 8.30 to 12 noon and 1pm to 4.15pm which includes a complimentary children's high tea. In the grounds of the kids club, there are swings, a sandpit and a paddling pool within an enclosed area that links to one of Carlisle Bay’s nine tennis courts which has been converted into four mini courts suitable for children.
There is a Creche for children aged between six months and 3 years with activities such as finger painting, water play, beach games and treasure hunts. There is a babysitting charge of US$15 an hour plus service & tax for the creche.
For children aged 4 - 6 years activities include art projects, song & dance, junior tennis and swimming. Crew Blue, for pre-teens aged 7-12 years, runs during the main school holidays in the UK and US and activities include raft building, junior yoga and beach volleyball.
Crush, for teens aged 13-18 years, also open during the main school holidays, offers a range of fun activities including wake boarding, zip-lining, tubing, tennis, yachting as well as more relaxing ones such as mocktail workshops. There is also a teen chill out room with a Wii entertainment system.
Crew Blue and Crush (kids & teens club) programmes for 7-12 and 13-18yr olds will operate Monday to Friday during key school holiday weeks (US and UK).
Kids movies are shown every afternoon in the hotel’s screening room.
