Mustique is an island favoured by royalty, musicians and high society, many of whom own one of the magnificent villas that form a large part of island life and whose owners names read from a ’Who’s Who’. The villas themselves, many designed by the late Oliver Messel, are as individual as their owners, each taking advantage of every asset of their position to offer unrivalled views. Also inspired by the original designer Oliver Messel, is the famed Cotton House, the island's own exclusive boutique hideaway. Located in the northern part of the Grenadines chain, Mustique enjoys views over neighbouring islands that reflect the historical Caribbean influence of the area; Canouan, Bequia, and Battowia. Surrounded by no less than nine pearl-white beaches, the island has an ambience unique to itself. Tranquillity, relaxation and privacy are all important watchwords, but that's to suggest isolation as the focal point as Basil's Beach Bar will testify to many an impromptu 'jump up'.

Mustique enjoys a tropical climate with little variation in temperature, the average temperature range is 75 to 85 degrees (24c to 29 c) throughout the year. The dry season is traditionally considered December to May and the wet season June to November

There are no direct flights to Mustique from the UK. International flights are from St Lucia that connect to Mustique but travellers can also fly to Barbados.
