The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

          Adriatic Riviera

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Adriatic Riviera.

Getting to the Adriatic Riviera is simple with many major airlines, including some "low cost" airlines, flying in to Rimini from a number of regions across the UK and Ireland.

Car Hire is the most popular way of exploring and is widely available.

The Adriatic Riviera enjoys beautiful sunny days and a warm year round Mediterranean climate. The summer months enjoy particularly hot temperatures whilst the winter months are much milder.

Stretching from Italy’s Apennine Mountains north to the Po River, the verdant region of Emilia-Romagna which includes the Adriatic Riviera, boasts outstanding cuisine and world-renowned produce, the world’s oldest university town of Bologna and well-loved seaside resorts offering miles of golden sands.

The region is renowned for its simple but mouth-wateringly tasty flat bread, the piadina, with various savoury and sometimes even sweet fillings. Just as good is cassone, a filled, folded and sealed flat bread. Both are readily available from food stalls which delight in serving these deliciously fresh and excellent value snacks.

Sangiovese is the region’s preferred wine whilst local, freshly caught fish and seafood include mackerel, sprats, red mullet and mantis prawns; all cooked to perfection. This Emilia-Romagna region is famed for its premium produce, such as parmesan cheese, Parma ham and balsamic vinegar from Modena; the market place in Castelfidardo is well worth a visit especially for foodies, but great for photographers too!
