The city of Side is situated close to Manavgat. The ancient city has luxurious resort hotels, two beautiful beaches and streets lined with small shops selling typical Turkish ware such as carpets, Turkish delight and local handicrafts.
The city has a lot of archaeological sites on offer such as the Temple of Apollo and the Greek Aspendos Amphitheatre. The resort also offers numerous day trips visiting neighbouring towns and boat trips to watch the turtles running from the shores.
