COVID-19

The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing enquiry@prestburytravel.co.uk.

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Athens.

Athens is a vibrant city enjoying sun-drenched summers and mild winters. Here you can discover anything and everything from ancient museums and trendy roof top bars to hipster coffee joints and chic boutiques.

Discover the ancient Acopolis which towers dramatically over the city boasting impressive 360 degree views. From the new Acropolis Museum to the Ancient Agora, the memories of Ancient Greece are present in every corner of Athens. Below The Acropolis Hills sits the sleepy village of Anafiotika with its whitewashed houses and labyrinth of narrow alleyways. The Old Town of Plaka oozes historical architecture, cobbled streets, sun-drenched piazzas and restaurants serving mouth-watering Greek cuisine too good to be missed. Hours can be spent relaxing and watching the world pass by. For those keen to enjoy a spot of beach-time then a visit to the southern coastline of the city is a must with its upmarket marinas and sandy beach that are blissfully empty off-season.

August is the hottest month in Athens with an average temperature of 28.7°C (84°F) and the coldest is January at 10°C (50°F) with the most daily sunshine hours at 12 in July.
