Use the drop-down menu below to explore Ischgl.
Ischgl is a pretty but also pulsating village just 90 minutes from Innsbruck with fantastic skiing and a lively nightlife scene - ski hard and party hard. The village is easy to explore via a series of underground tunnels and escalators at your convenience.
The après-ski is renowned yet varied and the nightlife is positively urban in nature with a vast array of restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs. Ischgl’s ski area targets intermediates and advanced skiers but beginners will also feel perfectly at home here. The resort offers a mixture of off-piste and on-piste slopes to explore and is linked with the duty-free Swiss enclave of Samnaun - a large section of the terrain is actually in Switzerland!
Priding itself on its ultra-modern lift system, many of which are high-speed and even heated provides skiers access to more than 238km of pistes with a further 40km ski terrain in nearby Galtür. The Euro Piz Val Gronda cable car has hugely improved access to the off-piste terrain in the Fimbatel Valley plus the new 3 S Pardatschgratbahn departing from town, serves slopes with a vertical drop of 1257m - the largest vertical drop served by a triple-cable gondola in the world.
