The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Hochgurgl.

Obergurgl (1,930m) and its smaller, higher neighbour, Hochgurgl (2,150m) are situated in the upper Ötztal Valley on the main Alpine ridge with guaranteed snow from during months November to May. Located south-west of Innsbruck with slopes rising up to 3,080m, the resort is only a 90-minute drive from this popular town. The Top Express gondola carrying eight people provides the mid-mountain link between Hochgurgl and Obergurgl ski areas. A red slope running from the top of the Schermerspitze chairlift leads down to Obergurgl providing an impressive vertical descent of 1,500m. The two-stage chairlift up to Wurmkogl allows access to some fun off-piste activities and some highly challenging red runs.

Hochgurgl's Top Mountain Crosspoint vintage museum and restaurant are also conveniently located at the bottom of the new Kirchenkar 10-person gondola. The multifunctional building is home to a motorbike museum and a state-of-the-art mountain restaurant that offers table service and stunning panoramic views!

A 6-day lift pass is also valid in the fantastic ski area of Sölden, where visitors can enjoy 145km of high altitude and glacier skiing.
