The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Boston.

Boston is an exciting historical city and one of the most sophisticated in America, with fine museums, elegant dining, and easy access to the country's most exclusive coastal resorts.

With its red-brick buildings, brownstones and prestigious universities, the city's culture and architecture are reminiscent of an English town. The streets are narrow and compact, which makes it an excellent city to walk around. The key role Boston played in the American Revolution is highlighted on the Freedom Trail, which is a 2.5-mile walking route of historic sites that tells the story of the nation’s founding. Simply follow the red line painted on the footpaths of the Freedrom Trail and you'll discover 16 historical sites over the course of a few hours.

Another great way to discover the city is to hire a bike. Hubway allows riders to pick up and drop off a bike at various stations across the city. The Charles river, which separates Boston from Cambridge, is another central feature of the city flanked by paths on each side ideal for cycling up and down. Another must-do is to take a trip to the north shore beaches such as Crane Beach and Plum Island or, to Cape Cod and its islands – Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Go off-season, in spring or autumn, and you might have the sandy beaches and parks to yourself.

With its close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean there is a plentiful supply of fresh fish and other must-eats include Boston's Lobster roll and Baked Alaska.

We sell a wide range of city break hotels to Boston so why not pop in to one of our branches or, call us as we'd be delighted to help you.

July is the hottest month in Boston with an average temperature of 24°C (74°F) and the coldest is January at-2°C (29°F) with the most daily sunshine hours at 10 in July. The wettest month is April with an average of 100mm of rain.
