The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Salzburg.

Salzburg is neatly tucked away between picture postcard hills and looks like a scene out of a fairytale book. Winter’s a time when the city  sparkles and snow-capped mountains bring that chocolate-box magic, while frost-dusted bell towers and medieval palaces set the scene for sightseeing. From late November, magical Christmas markets take over town, with cute wooden huts tucked into every nook and cranny. Think baked apples, carol-singing choirs and cosy horse-drawn carriage rides.

Salzburg has an inspired history to match its inspired setting. This is where Mozart was born so a visit to Geburtshaus is a must allowing you to take a tour of the composer's childhood home. Salzburg is of course the impressive setting for the unforgettable film  'The Sound of Music'. A visit to the majestic Mirabell Palace is another must-see if you're keen to follow the foot-steps of the Von Trapp family.

We sell a wide range of city break hotels to Salzburg so why not pop in to one of our branches or, call us as we'd be delighted to help you.
