The COVID-19 Pandemic has placed us in a position where we need to make decisions in order to put the safety of our clients and staff as our highest priority.

With this in mind we have come to the decision that it has become essential to temporarily close the doors to our retail branches and ensure the well being of our staff and clients.

In line with government advice on social distancing we have closed our doors to limit the amount of contact our staff and clients are exposed to. Our team are still available to answer your questions by email and can be reached by emailing

We will be contacting clients who currently have bookings and may be affected. We are working through these bookings in date order and will be in touch shortly.

We thank you for your understanding in us having to take such precautions. We hope you and your family stay well and look forward to seeing you all when we re-open the doors to our branches.

Best Wishes
From all at Prestbury Travel

Use the drop-down menu below to explore Slovenia.

Slovenia sits in the heart of Europe sharing its borders with Italy, Hungary, Croatia and Austria. It’s a real melting pot of cultural influences boasting lakes, castles, cities and unique folk culture. Picture perfect scenery includes snow-capped mountains, wildflower meadows and emerald green lakes.

Slovenia is the perfect place for outdoor activities where you can discover superb nature trails, ice age waterfalls or head to the mountains for the breath-taking vistas. Alternatively take to the beaches of the Adriatic or the Istria Peninsula and simply relax under the sun. For anyone seeking a touch of culture then the leafy capital of Ljubljana offer museums, cafes and restaurants, historic churches and fine architecture. In the summer, the streets and squares are alive with festivals, markets, music and food stalls. Another Slovenian highlight is of course the breathtakingly beautiful Lake Bled which sits nestled in the heart of the Julian Alps with its pretty island and charming 15th century church.

We sell a wide range of holidays to Slovenia so why not pop in to one of our branches or, call us on 01625 855855 as we'd be delighted to help you.

Slovenia is well connected by road and rail with its four neighbours – Italy, Austria, Croatia and Hungary. However, the vast majority of visitors from the UK fly into Jože Pučnik Airport, the country's only international airport receiving regular scheduled flights, at Brnik, 27km north of Ljubljana.
