A city break to Barcelona makes for an ideal Spanish escape. With a wide range of Barcelona flight and hotel packages, you can soak up the sun on the edge of the Mediterranean before exploring the city’s stunning architecture, luxury shops, tantalising bars and restaurants and world-class cultural attractions.

No city break to Barcelona is complete without a visit to Parc Güell – the architectural gardens designed by Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. Bursting with colourful mosaics and offering wonderful views of the city, Parc Güell is also home to the fascinating Gaudi House Museum. Barcelona is synonymous with Gaudi, who also designed the Sagrada Familia, one of the city’s most famous icons and a must-visit on your Barcelona break.

As well as strolling through the Catalan capital’s lush parks, there are plenty of other great value ways to enjoy a Barcelona city break. With seven beaches and 4.5km of coastline to explore, it’s easy to find a peaceful pitch for a spot of sunbathing. Meandering down the famous tree-lined avenue Las Ramblas is also a must, with plenty of bustling street performers, mimes and human statues to keep you entertained. Here you’ll also find an abundance of kiosks selling souvenirs, flowers and local delicacies such as churros.

Enjoying food and drink on city breaks to Barcelona is another highlight not to be missed. Indulge in fine dining in the L’Eixample region or sample delicious seafood paella along the coast for a taste of Catalan cuisine. Barcelona also offers a myriad of tapas where you can enjoy tasty bite-sized dishes starting from just a few Euros each.

We sell a wide range of city break hotels to Barcelona so why not pop in to one of our branches or, call us as we'd be delighted to help you.
